Around the Island #2

I have been so busy that I have completely neglected my blog! One of the reasons is that I got a job teaching for the preschool which is operated through St. Geroge's University!

Before we went home to Maryland for holiday my best friends, Sherry and Sheridan, and I took our husbands and our dogs on an excursion around the entire island, counter-clockwise...

Galby Bay

The view of Galby Bay from the top of the cliff

CW and Huck taking a beer break up on the cliff

Galby is one of the most beautiful beaches in Grenada...check out the hole in the cliff!

Huck loves car rides!

Following the boys through Grenville...we made them ride in a seperate car so we could be chatty :)

Pearls Airport...obviously no longer in use

Me, Sheridan, Sherry and Jomo!

Bathway beach in Levera

The rock bed breaks the waves and makes a nice pool of calm water by the shore

The boys car

Sauteurs from the east (this is the northern-most tip of the island)

One of the beaches on the west side of Sauteurs

Huck enjoying the beach (but not the water)

Carriacou in the distance

Playing on the beach

Drinking a few beers

Matean, just hangin' around

Walking Huck down the beach so he can explore

Swinging a bit before heading home!

We drove back down the West Coast of the island, but didn't make any stops, as we have visited many of those bays during various booze cruise and snorkel trips.
